Postponed! – Bach – St John Passion

Con Anima Chamber Choir and Chamber Orchestra
Saturday 4th April at 7.30pm
St Machar’s Cathedral

In light of recent events we have regretfully taken the decision to postpone our performance of the St. John Passion on April 4th. We are trying to arrange a replacement date, probably in September and will announce this as soon as we can.
Tickets already purchased will be valid for the new date but will be refunded if necessary. As I’m sure you understand these are uncharted waters and we are working with all those concerned to manage the situation as best we can.
Thank you for your continued support of Con Anima!

One week before Easter on Saturday April 4th, Con Anima present Bach’s St. John Passion under the musical direction of Roger Williams MBE and including a superb array of soloists – all with Aberdeen connections.
This work, one of the towering masterpieces of European music, has compelling recitatives, electrifying choruses, heart-wrenching arias and is almost operatic in its drama!

Conductor: Roger B. Williams MBE
Leader: Jean Fletcher
Continuo: Tom Wilkinson
Evangelist: Kieran White
Christus: Brian Bannatyne-Scott
Soloists: Katherine Williams, Moira Docherty, Carole Clarke,
Megan Cormack, Matthew Mckinney and Ross Cumming
