Audition to join Con Anima, Monday 20/Nov

Con Anima are looking for new members to join all sections!

We’re looking for new members to start singing from January 2018, beginning with our Spring concert, this year including Vaughan Williams Mass in G Minor and a Bach motet.  If you’re an experienced singer who would like to sing with a choir of a high standard, we’d love to hear from you.  Our weekly rehearsals are held on a Thursday night from 8~10pm in Aberdeen city centre.

Following successful audition, your first concert will be on a trial basis.  If that’s successful you’ll be offered the opportunity to join permanently.

Auditions will take place on Monday, 20th November from 7-10pm, in St Andrew’s Cathedral, King Street, Aberdeen.

If you can’t make 20/Nov, please email anyway and we’ll see what we can do about another audition date.

For the audition you will be required to sing Anton Bruckner’s “Locus Iste” as part of a quartet (with Con Anima members filling in the other parts) and complete a sight-singing test and range check.
